Train damping spring is an energy conversion device, which converts the intense kinetic energy generated during train operation into controllable heat energy release through elastic deformation. Design of Modern Shock Absorber Spring System
Design of Modern shock absorber spring system adopts modular design, each unit contains the main spring, limiter, damping valve three components. The main spring is made of chromium-vanadium alloy steel as a whole. After special heat treatment, the hardness standard of HRC52-55 is reached. With the surface nitriding process, the elastic modulus can be kept stable at extreme temperatures from -40℃ to 120℃. The limiter has a nonlinear stiffness design, and its stiffness coefficient increases exponentially when the amplitude exceeds the safety threshold, ensuring system integrity under sudden impact. The damping valve has an intelligent adjustment system, which automatically adjusts the oil flow through real-time monitoring of axle load changes, so that the damping system is always in the optimal working state.
Multi-dimensional Applications of Train Damping Spring
For different operational needs, modern shock absorbing springs have been developed to travel differentiation technology routes: freight trains use high-stiffness spring groups, through the parallel structure to achieve 130% overload protection; Urban rail vehicles are equipped with low-frequency vibration suppression system to deal with resonance caused by frequent start-stop. The high altitude EMU is equipped with air pressure compensation device to eliminate the influence of altitude change on spring stiffness. In the newly developed magnetorheological spring system, the damping coefficient can be adjusted in real time by changing the magnetic field intensity, which lays a technical foundation for the next generation of intelligent rail vehicles

And we will provide material testing report, dimensional testing report, and mechanical properties testing report to our clients before delivery.
